Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required, 2 years preferred License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Comfortable with LTAC facility experience - Recent charting experience with a required system Description: This position requires a Physical Therapist with experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) and acute care settings. The ideal candidate should have experience with a patient ratio of 10-12. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency with adaptive devices and acute care procedures. Familiarity with various patient diagnoses, including chronic conditions, is necessary. Candidates should be skilled in carrying out rehabilitation strategies and patient education. The ability to float within the assigned scope based on facility needs is required. Compliance with attendance policies and meeting patient care expectations is mandatory. Required competencies include vital sign monitoring, assessment, and plan of care development. The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team and support various services. Previous travel experience is a plus. Candidates must be prepared to take required pass/fail tests during the initial orientation. All requested time off should be submitted with the initial application.
