Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have current state license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Acute care, skilled nursing facility, or inpatient rehabilitation experience - Ability to work varied day shift hours Description: This position requires a physical therapist to work in an inpatient rehabilitation environment. The physical therapist will provide care to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical populations. Candidates must have experience working in acute care and meet the minimum requirement of 2 years in the relevant field. The schedule will vary based on surgical volume, with one weekend per month required. Weekdays off may be provided to balance weekend shifts. Key responsibilities include using treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes. The ideal candidate should be a critical thinker, a compassionate team player, and possess excellent time management skills. Grey scrubs are required attire for this role.
