This Physical Therapist position is based in Surprise, Arizona, a rapidly growing community in the West Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including post-operative cases, sports injuries, sprains and strains, work-related injuries, and degenerative joint issues. A typical day involves performing comprehensive initial evaluations, developing and progressing individualized plans of care, leading one-on-one treatment sessions, documenting in the electronic medical record, and coordinating with referring providers and the rest of the care team. Patient caseload generally consists of a mix of active adults, weekend athletes, and older adults focused on improving mobility and independence. You can expect a steady but manageable patient schedule that allows you to deliver focused, patient-centered care while meeting clinic expectations. Treatment sessions may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, functional movement retraining, and patient education for long-term self-management. The clinic culture values teamwork and open communication. Physical Therapists collaborate with therapy support staff and colleagues to optimize patient flow, share clinical insights, and provide a cohesive experience for patients. There are opportunities to develop areas of clinical interest, participate in case discussions, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the outpatient setting.
