Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist – South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150Start Date: May 11, 2026
Location: South Lake Tahoe, California
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts with varied start times between 7:00 AM; 40 guaranteed hours per week
Highlights:- Travel assignment through August 8, 2026 (89 days) at a community health system serving the beautiful Lake Tahoe region
- Work at a Level III Trauma Center with both acute care and long-term care services
- Provide physical therapy services to a diverse patient population ranging from children through geriatric patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Located nearly 6,200 feet above sea level in one of the nation's premier outdoor recreation destinations
- Opportunity to work independently under the supervision of experienced rehabilitation leadership
Requirements:- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Valid California Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Provider)
- Recent or previous outpatient and/or inpatient experience preferred
- Skills checklist completed within one year of submittal
- Comprehensive background check and drug screening (note: oral swab for THC metabolites performed on day one)
- Current immunizations including COVID, Flu, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TDAP, and TB testing
- Respiratory fit test within 12 months of start date
