Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Current, unencumbered Maryland physical therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
  • Home Health experience preferred. Candidate must be comfortable conducting skilled therapy in patient homes and evaluating home environments.
  • 2-3 years of physical therapy experience preferred; recent graduates may be considered if state license is active.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Experience supervising or delegating to PTAs and home health aides preferred, with ability to perform evaluations, develop and update plans of care, and coordinate discharge planning.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation and basic computer navigation, including email and online training modules.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance required for home visits.

  • Assignment Type: Travel, temporary help.
  • Candidate will perform patient evaluations, provide skilled physical therapy per physician orders, and may supervise PTAs and home health aides as assigned.
