Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
• Client-specific requirement: ability to provide services in a long-term care/rehabilitation environment and manage caseloads typical of SNF populations.
• Preferred: prior experience with restorative nursing programs, documentation in electronic medical records, and familiarity with mobility and fall-prevention equipment.
