Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (09:00 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Ortho and Neuro skills required Description: Hours will be discussed during the interview. Three evenings per week until 6 PM are necessary. Shorter days can be negotiable. Guaranteed hours per week: 40 hours. No call requirements. No weekend requirements. No float requirements. Experience in orthopedic and neurological conditions is required. Requires a state license and BLS certification. Preferred experience in charge roles and community hospital environments. Familiarity with Epic charting system is necessary. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 13. Number of visits per day is around 10. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and rapid response teams. Specializes in all orthopedic conditions and neurological diagnoses. Special procedures for infants with torticollis and pediatric orthopedic conditions are also included. Experience with special equipment, such as AlterG treadmill, is required. Background checks are part of the hiring process. Proof of flu vaccination is required, with medical exemptions accepted.
