Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:00 - 18:00) Experience: 1 year License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Ortho and Neuro skills Description: Hours are to be discussed during the interview. Three 6 PM days are required. Shorter days can be negotiable. Guaranteed hours per week are 40. No call requirement. No weekend requirement. No float requirement. Certification in BLS is mandatory. Candidates should have one year of experience. Preferred experience includes charge experience. Charting experience with a specific system is required. Community hospital experience is preferred. Experience with pediatric conditions is required. Knowledge of various diagnoses such as orthopedic and neuro conditions is necessary. Understanding of specialized procedures is beneficial. Skills in rehabilitation for conditions like multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury are important. Experience in patient and family education is expected. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is 13 with approximately 10 visits per day. Interdisciplinary support is available for all patient care needs. All equipment used must include specialized rehabilitation tools. References are required for submission.
