Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy: Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Experience performing outpatient PT evaluations and interventions, including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, soft tissue mobilization, and use of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
  • Experience documenting evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries consistent with physician orders and facility documentation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants and to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred: Experience in hospital-based outpatient clinics or similar outpatient settings.

  • Shift hours: 08:00 – 16:30.
  • Work schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week. Full time.
  • Floating: No floating requirement.
  • Weekend requirement: No weekends required.

  • Dress code: Professional/casual. No scrubs; clean tennis shoes or dress shoes.
