JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Waterville, Maine. The PT will evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting while developing individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, monitoring patient progress, and delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to support optimal recovery outcomes. Immediate need with quick-start opportunity available.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Implement therapeutic exercises and mobility training programs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and recovery plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Promote patient safety and functional independence
Ensure compliance with facility policies and rehabilitation standards


REQUIREMENTS

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license (Maine or eligible state licensure)
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
Commitment to delivering patient-centered rehabilitative care
