Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Standard state license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Ability to evaluate and treat patients with a strong rehab mindset. Focus is on treatment rather than evaluation only. Description: The purpose of this position is to provide rehabilitation services to patients. The unit is a critical access facility with a focus on rehab services. On average, there are two CNAs per shift, along with a rehab tech available for 20 hours per week. Comprehensive evaluations and treatments will be performed on the unit. All necessary lift equipment is available, along with a large rehab gym equipped with various therapy devices. The documentation system used is Cerner. Staff will follow a set schedule from Monday to Friday. There is a floating policy in place, which may require floating to a nearby living center if needed. Patient experience is prioritized, and a minimum of one year of experience is preferred. Dress code requires scrubs, with no specific color mandated. Unit guidelines and policies will be provided upon hiring. The facility features a new rehab gym with a fully functioning kitchen and laundry set-up. Therapy can also be provided outdoors when applicable. This position is essential due to contractor replacement needs.
