Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: M-F Hours per Shift: 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State License Certifications: CPR Must-Have Skills/Experience: Outpatient orthopedics Description: The unit provides a focused and exceptional understanding of physical therapy. The unit consists of 25 beds. Patient ratios are 1:1 for treatment sessions. Available equipment includes ultrasound, E-stim, and Lite Gait. The electronic medical record system in use is Epic. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Preferred skillset includes outpatient, orthopedics, generalized therapy, neuro, balance, and pain management. Patients in the unit typically present with orthopedic, neurological, and general debility issues. A team-oriented and flexible personality fit is essential. The dress code requires charcoal gray scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes extreme hairstyles, facial jewelry that may present a safety hazard, and visible tattoos with inappropriate images or language. Denim material is not permitted. Head coverings are allowed only for religious or medical accommodation. Shoes must be clean, closed-toe, and made of material that can be wiped clean or washed. Socks or hosiery must be worn.
