Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Home Health physical therapy experience required. Candidates must have experience performing start of care visits, evaluations, subsequent visits, recertifications, and discharges in a home health setting.
  • Ability to travel within assigned coverage areas, including Cape Coral and North Fort Myers.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for travel between patient visits. Mileage between visits will be reimbursed.
  • Preferred: demonstrated ability to work as a team player in a home health care environment.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Home Health.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Monday–Friday, approximately 08:00–16:00 (5x8 schedule).
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hour guarantee.
  • Coverage Areas: Cape Coral and North Fort Myers.
  • On-call/Weekend Requirement: None.
  • Primary responsibilities: start of cares, evaluations, subsequent visits, recertifications, and discharges.
  • Dress code: scrubs in any color.
