Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 12-week assignment in an acute care setting. This position will provide care across both inpatient and outpatient services, evaluating and treating patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, wound care, and general rehabilitation needs. The therapist will collaborate closely with a supportive multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, wound care, debility, sports injuries, fractures, and post-operative conditions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Document patient care accurately using MEDITECH.
- Collaborate with physicians, PTAs, and the rehabilitation team.
- Float between inpatient and outpatient departments as needed.
- Precept students or staff if requested.
