Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Stockton, CA working in an outpatient setting. Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, direct discipline-specific therapy services, and educate patients, families, students and coworkers. Maintain professional licensure, complete timely documentation, participate in performance improvement activities, and follow clinic safety and compliance standards.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • No new graduates. Prior outpatient experience preferred.
  • Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, writing goal-directed treatment plans, and documenting in compliance with state and payer guidelines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising students and mentoring staff.
  • Familiarity with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
  • Participation in performance improvement initiatives and professional development activities.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5x8.
  • ASAP start.
  • Must be able to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance and punctuality.
