Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratio - Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic Description: This position requires a licensed physical therapist with experience in acute care settings. The therapist will work directly with patients to assess their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. They will be responsible for implementing rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient diagnoses. The expected patient-to-therapist ratio is 1:1. No floating between units is required. Weekends and on-call duties are not required for this position. The therapist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Experience in managing a variety of patient conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative cases, is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for patient education and family involvement in treatment plans.
