Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Professional certification required. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in home health required. Must be able to provide skilled PT treatment for patients in their homes.
  • Experience with home health documentation platforms such as HCHB is preferred.
  • Experience with OASIS assessments is preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Home Health.
  • Shift Name: Evenings.
  • Shift Details: Evenings 2000-0400.
  • Workload: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
  • Coverage Area: Buncombe and Haywood Counties. Travel between patient visits will be reimbursed.
  • Weekly Hours Guarantee: 40 hours per week.
  • On-call/Weekend Requirement: Negotiable; approximately one Saturday per month possible.
