Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 9H Days Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Physical Therapy License Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Well-versed in physical therapy practices. Description: Hiring process includes a profile review and interview. Candidates must submit a valid driver’s license. Clinicians must be in-state for the week of orientation, even if the first day is remote. This is a 26-week contract only. Department focuses on outpatient physical therapy services. Expectation to treat 45 patients per day with 45-minute one-on-one treatments. The role includes evaluation and management of recurring schedules. Management of care plans and communication with healthcare teams is imperative. Common diagnoses include primarily orthopedic cases, catering to a wide variety of outpatient rehabilitation needs. The position requires working in an outpatient setting. Experience in managing various diagnoses and patient types is essential. The position includes the support of rehabilitation aides such as physical therapy assistants, but treatments are one-on-one. Shifts and scheduling are agreed upon, running from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekend or holiday work is required. Dress code is business casual. Department-specific orientation is provided. Great team environment, with previous physical therapists having accepted full-time positions. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shift cancellations for 13-week assignments and 3 for shorter assignments. Charting is conducted through the EPIC system.
