Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
• Administer physical agents such as ultrasound, moist heat, and electrical stimulation as indicated
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust assistive and adaptive equipment as required
• Direct and supervise PTAs, rehab aides, and students as assigned
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately per facility and payer requirements
• Maintain productivity standards and billing compliance
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimise patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active Florida PT licence (or compact/endorsement eligibility)
• CPR/BLS certification current
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy clinical experience; SNF/post-acute setting preferred
• Strong documentation skills and ability to manage a caseload across multiple payer types
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
