Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current PT license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months of current acute care PT experience - Knowledge of ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital machines Description: This is a travel position for a Physical Therapist. Every other weekend is required. The unit has 41 beds and an estimated 15-20 therapy staff daily across various disciplines. There is a need for 2 PTs on the day shift. The patient ratio allows for a treatment load of up to 6 patients during an 8-hour shift. Daily treatment includes gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training. Candidates should be team players and flexible with treatment scheduling, including weekends. The facility features state-of-the-art technology and is equipped with a full IADL kitchen. Clinicians are responsible for tracking time and charges to ensure that patients receive the required therapy time. This position allows for the opportunity to work in a brand-new inpatient facility.
