Job SummaryWe are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities. The Physical Therapist will develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent further injury, while promoting overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and medical histories
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and facility policies
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff when applicable
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Basic computer skills for documentation and EMR systems
Preferred Qualifications- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Prior clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings
- Experience with specialized populations (geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, or sports medicine)
- Certification in specialized therapy areas (e.g., orthopedic, neurological, or sports physical therapy)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
