Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 Years in a Hospital Setting License: Not Specified Certifications: Not Required Must-Have: - Hospital and Inpatient Rehab experience preferred - Stroke evaluation and treatment Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required. The unit has a total of 44 beds. Patient ratios are 4:1. There are 10 OT/PT teams and 3 speech therapists. One technician is present on the unit. The type of equipment used includes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego. The documentation system utilized is Meditech Expanse. Scheduling requirements are Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7 AM and 5 PM. Staff may be required to float to other departments if the rehab census is low. The patient experience requirements include the use of AIDET communication and immediate service recovery. There are no certifications required for this position. The dress code consists of black scrub bottoms and a royal blue top. Please refer to unit-specific policies and guidelines for additional information. Any outstanding department or team awards should be highlighted. Consideration is given to new equipment and technology, as well as the tenure and experience of staff.
