Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • CPR (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical setting preferred; experience in hospital and/or nursing home settings required.
  • Experience with documentation systems Cerner and NetHealth preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical therapy evaluations, establish plans of care, participate in rounds and care conferences, and communicate frequently with multidisciplinary rehab teams.
  • Willingness to float between acute/swing, nursing home, and outpatient services as indicated.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in rehab-focused hospitals or swing-bed programs.
  • Familiarity with outpatient and nursing home therapy workflows.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week; final schedule to be reviewed during interview with rehab manager.
  • Clinician will be asked to float between acute/swing, nursing home, and outpatient services as indicated.
  • Treatment settings include patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and the rehab gym.
