Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical setting preferred. This includes experience in hospital and/or nursing home settings. (Preferred)
- Experience with Cerner and NetHealth documentation systems preferred. (Preferred)
- Experience providing care in acute/swing bed, nursing home, and outpatient settings preferred due to floating requirements. (Preferred)
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (Rehab Services).
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
- Schedule requirement: 40 hours per week; schedule to be reviewed during interview with rehab manager.
- Float requirement: Clinician will be asked to float between acute/swing, nursing home, and outpatient services as indicated.
- Documentation systems used: Cerner and NetHealth.
- Treatment settings: Patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and rehab gym.

- Unit specifics: Rehab department includes PT/OT/SLP coverage; typical rehab equipment available. New rehab gym construction planned with access to existing gym and outdoor gym design.
- Patient population: 24 acute/swing beds, 40 nursing home beds, and 10 skilled beds within the nursing home; majority swing bed patients; hospital is stroke certified.
