Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $1,885 to $2,085 per week in Franklin, VA

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active State Physical Therapist License. Virginia license required upon or prior to submittal.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics and post-operative total joint rehabilitation. Experience treating same-day surgery patients preferred.
• Ability to provide occasional coverage for inpatient med/surgery and same-day surgery units as needed.
• Caseload management skills consistent with averaging 7–8 patient visits per day.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in hospital or outpatient clinic settings preferred.
• Preferred certifications: OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, or Women’s Health. These are preferred, not required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital outpatient clinic with occasional coverage of small med/surg and same day surgery units.
• Shift: Monday through Friday, Day shift.
• Hours: Typical schedule M-F 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• On-call: Rotating on-call schedule approximately every fourth weekend for inpatient coverage.
• Patient Volume: Average 7–8 patients per day.
• License Requirement: Virginia license required to start; candidates must hold active, non-expired license in good standing.
• Orientation: Flexible start weeks per facility orientation calendar.
