Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation and plan of care development.
  • Experience providing 60-minute evaluations and treatments preferred.
  • Documentation experience including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in electronic medical records systems.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and participate in student clinical education preferred.
  • Adherence to state Practice Act, professional codes of conduct, and completion of state-mandated continuing education.
