The role involves evaluating patients in an acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities include developing care plans to treat patients. You will use procedures and techniques to change condition and function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis. Supervising and coordinating therapeutic care will be part of your duties. You will communicate evaluation results to patients, families, and appropriate staff. Experience in acute care, especially with orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary care, is preferred. The facility has a variety of patient lifting equipment available. All patient rooms are single-patient rooms. Documentation will be performed using a specific electronic system. Great outdoor activities include hiking, biking, and kayaking. The community offers a bustling downtown with various dining and shopping options.
