Candidates will be sourced locally. The role offers up to 2 days a week with 24 hours depending on needs and preferences. Evaluates clients by administering tests and measurements such as range of motion, gait, and functional analysis. Determines individual rehabilitation program needs. Provides or oversees ongoing assessments of clients' rehabilitation. Prepares, transmits, and maintains measurement and assessment records. Reports tests, assessments, and measurements to interdisciplinary teams as requested. Participates in writing and presenting individual treatment plans. Includes formulating goals and planning appropriate physical therapy treatments. Plans for periodic reassessment of client progress and revises plans as necessary. Participates in ongoing continuing education and in-service training. Engages in research projects and program development. Involved in training pre-clinical and clinical physical therapy students, licensed physical therapy assistants, and therapy aides.
