Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including evaluation, plan of care development, and functional treatment program implementation.
  • Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in accordance with clinic policies and payer guidelines.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students. Student instruction experience preferred.
  • Adherence to state Practice Act and maintenance of professional licensure and required continuing education.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.
