Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida State Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings required. Candidate must be comfortable with 60-minute evaluations and combined eval/treatment sessions.
• Competence in documentation including goal writing, functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic requirements.
• Ability to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and to supervise and delegate to discipline-specific therapy assistants or support staff as needed.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and outpatient clinic safety practices.
• Preferred: prior experience participating in student clinical education or mentorship roles.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Patient Care Model: 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions.
• Clinical Focus: Evaluation, treatment planning, functional program design, and patient/family education for outpatient populations.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
