Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient orthopedics/post-op outpatient ortho experience preferred.
  • Productivity expectation: ability to meet approximately 60 visits per week and see 12–14 patients per day, including double-booked follow-up visits (preferred).
  • Experience working in a single-therapist clinic or readiness to grow into a 1 PT / 1 PTA team is preferred.
  • New graduates and first-time travelers will be considered.
  • PTA candidates are not accepted for this role.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Primary rate type: 8-hour day schedule; 36 hours guaranteed with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
  • OT (overtime) must be approved by the director prior to working.
  • Patient population: outpatient post-op and orthopedic patients.
  • Float requirement: No floating to other clinics.
