Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Licensed in the state Certifications: None required Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred Neuro experience and/or certifications preferred Description: Inpatient rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital. Patient population consists of adults and older adults. Common diagnoses include CVA, SCI, TBI, neurodegenerative conditions, polytrauma, amputation, cardiac issues, general medical, and orthopedic concerns. The facility has 27 beds with a nursing ratio of 1:5. Equipped with overhead lifts in patient rooms, portable Hoyer lift, Sera Stedy, biodex balance, Wii, pressure mapping, trial AFOs, and trial wheelchairs. The electronic health record system used is Epic/CareConnect. Team atmosphere is essential for success in this role. Required education includes a valid physical therapy license. Dress code allows any color scrubs or business casual attire. Jeans are not acceptable attire.
