Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $1,630 to $1,830 per week in Corpus Christi, TX

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas state PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).
• Hospital acute care experience required.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Experience in inpatient rehab and CARE scoring preferred.
• Ability to float to other acute care hospital units as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• CARE scoring experience.
• Experience performing evaluations, treatments, and MBS for speech therapy collaboration.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
• Shift days: Days.
• Unit patient ratio typically 5 patients.
• Typical unit size: 15 beds with approximately 20 staff.
• Typical team composition on day shift: 4.5 PT/PTA, 4 OT/COTA, 0.5 rehab tech.
• Equipment: basic lift equipment and standard therapy equipment.
• At least 2 weekend days per month required.

Impacting Patient Care

Serve patients in an acute care hospital setting and contribute to improved functional outcomes. Work within interdisciplinary teams to perform evaluations, treatments, and support dysphagia management with MBS as appropriate. Use Meditech EMR for documentation and care coordination.
