Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Must be competent in evaluation, development of treatment plans, goal writing, and functional outcome measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
  • Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and clinic safety protocols.
  • Ability to supervise and provide direction to therapy assistants and students as needed.
  • Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
  • Preferred: prior experience working in a high-volume outpatient clinic and experience with electronic medical record systems.

  • Facility Type: Outpatient.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
  • Position Type: Physical Therapist providing evaluations, plan of care development, treatment, documentation, and patient/family education.
  • May participate in student supervision and professional development activities as assigned.
