Minimum Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required prior to start.
• Acute care experience required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in inpatient physical therapy or acute care hospital settings preferred.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (253-bed acute care with a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit).
• Unit: Inpatient Physical Therapy, floors 1-4 in the main hospital building.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
• Typical patient load: Approximately 9–10 patients per day (75% productivity standard).
• Typical equipment: Mobility equipment.
• EMR: Meditech.
• May work collaboratively with PT, OT, and SLP day shift staff.
