Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week travel contract assignment in Pembroke, North Carolina. The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to help patients regain mobility, strength, and functional independence.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary rehab team.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff
Ensure safe and effective use of therapeutic equipment
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards
Support patient recovery and functional independence goals
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree required
Minimum 1 year of clinical PT experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Ability to work full-time weekday schedule
Must comply with facility health and safety requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification required
