OverviewPhysical Therapist – General, travel assignment in Lodi, California, United States. Start date 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,432 to $2,630. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Practice setting: short-term acute care hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,432–$2,630 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 8 weeks- Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)- Start date: 08/17/2026- Setting: acute inpatient and rehab care in a short-term hospital environmentResponsibilities- Plan and conduct assessment and treatment segments to restore and improve physical, functional, and cognitive goals, aligned with department objectives- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans of care using evidence-based techniques- Provide therapy interventions (e.g., therapeutic exercise, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, Manual therapy) and adapt as patient needs evolve- Establish discharge plans and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team; ensure clear communication to patients, families, and care partners- Produce accurate, timely clinical documentation within established deadlines; supervise assigned assistants as appropriate- Float between inpatient acute care and inpatient rehab settings as needed; participate in weekend coverage if requiredRequirements- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree; required, with the license rule: only if obtained after January 2016, or foreign equivalent- Licensure: Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice (California or other assigned state) required- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor- Experience: At least two years of recent physical therapy experience preferred; hospital/acute rehab experience and Neuro/ICU exposure are advantageous- Ability to work in an acute inpatient hospital setting and to float between inpatient and rehab units; weekend availability as neededFind more opportunitiesIf you are exploring other openings, you can view additional postings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyBenefits and Support- Extension opportunities may be available based on performance and assignment needs- Assignment-specific support with credentialing and onboarding- Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment- 24/7 access to travel support and coordinationPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
