Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a rehabilitation contract assignment in a skilled nursing setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
The ideal candidate will provide quality patient-centered care while supporting rehabilitation goals and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients
Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising Physical Therapist
Document therapy sessions and patient responses accurately
Educate patients on exercises and therapy techniques
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain a safe and supportive rehabilitation environment
Ensure compliance with facility and therapy standards
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active PTA license in the state of Pennsylvania
Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
