We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled therapy team in Newman, CA. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ mobility and quality of life while enjoying the charm of California’s Central Valley.
Position Overview:
Provide professional physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following all state/federal regulations and facility policies.
Responsibilities:
• Implement therapy interventions according to the PT’s plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and on time
• Assist with patient and caregiver education on exercises and rehabilitation techniques
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
• Active California PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and outcomes
