We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel contract assignment. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will help implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and treatment techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Ensure compliance with all professional, facility, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, outpatient, acute care, or long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

Compensation

Pay Rate:$39.00 $45.50 per hour
