Job Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract rehabilitation assignment. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to assist in implementing treatment plans and supporting patient recovery, mobility, and functional improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment programs
Provide guided therapeutic exercises and mobility support
Monitor patient response to therapy and report changes
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Support patients with mobility, strength, and functional training
Educate patients on prescribed exercise programs
Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
Collaborate with rehabilitation and clinical teams

Start Date: 06/15/2026
End Date: 09/21/2026
Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday (contract schedule)
Contract Length: ~15 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant license (state required)
Graduate of accredited PTA program
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Experience in rehab or clinical settings preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to follow treatment plans accurately under supervision
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and health requirements
