Job Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week contract assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or mobility-related conditions within a rehabilitation setting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation interventions
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home exercise programs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to optimize patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and therapy regulations
Support patients in restoring mobility, pain management, and functional independence
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility standards
Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols, therapeutic techniques, and patient safety standards

Candidates must bring valid state or federal issued identification
Facility photo badge must be worn at all times during assignment
