**Join Our Dynamic Rehab Team!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** 68 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803 - **Schedule:** 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday **Unit Highlights:** - **Number of Beds:** 80 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:6 during the day; 1:8 at night - **Supporting Staff:** - 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) - 2 Rehab Techs - **Advanced Equipment:** - Sara Steady, Sara Plus, Hoyer Lift, Viking, sliding boards, and more! - **Documentation Systems:** Meditech and RehabConnect - **Floating Policy:** Dedicated to this rehab facility - **Patient Experience:** Opportunities to work with TBI, stroke, ortho, cardiac, SCI, pulmonary, and debility patients **Essential Qualifications:** - **Required Skills:** - Strong hands-on skills in Occupational Therapy - Knowledge of relevant medical conditions - Experience with EMR documentation and compliance - Excellent interdisciplinary communication skills - Experience in family training and DME recommendations - **Preferred Experience:** - Inpatient rehab hospital setting - Safe patient handling techniques - Familiarity with protocols for preventing complications (e.g., autonomic dysreflexia) - Bowel/bladder programs and skin integrity management - Training in wheelchairs, prosthetics, orthotics, and adaptive equipment - **Skills Required:** - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities - Good time management skills - Advanced critical thinking skills **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Proficiency in the following procedures: - E-stim - Ultrasound - Splinting - Wound care - Limb wrapping **Educational & Professional Requirements:** - Minimum degree in Occupational Therapy - Current licensure to practice in NC **Dress Code:** - Rehab casual or black scrub bottoms with eggplant purple scrub tops **Perks of Working With Us:** - Teaching hospital with active student rotations - Young CVA program certification - Access to a variety of specialized equipment to tailor your therapy sessions **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
