Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 7 On / 7 Off | 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities- Function under the direction and supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations
- Assist in the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to designated hospital areas
- Transport pharmaceuticals throughout the facility in accordance with applicable policies and procedures
- Prepare unit dose exchange systems and IV admixtures
- Perform inventory management, stocking, and ordering of pharmacy supplies
- Carry out all activities in compliance with state and federal regulations, DEA requirements, TJC standards, and departmental policies
Required Qualifications- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience
- Inpatient hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems
