Key Responsibilities
- Verify and fill orders for medications in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical drug information
- Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
- Document all patient interactions and clinical interventions for medical review
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- All licensures and certifications required to fulfill Pharmacist duties at the state level
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), HeartCode ACLS, or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS), HeartCode BLS, or equivalent
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), HeartCode PALS, or equivalent
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- One or more years of technical pharmacy experience
- Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
