Key Responsibilities
- Verify and fill orders for medications in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical drug information
- Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
- Document all patient interactions and interventions for medical review
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- All licensures and certifications required to fulfill Pharmacist duties at the state level
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Minimum of 1–2 years of pharmacy experience with inpatient hospital experience required
- Ability to fulfill on-call requirements, up to half of scheduled shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
- One or more years of pharmacy technician or related technical experience
