    Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee the procurement, distribution, storage, and administration of drugs; ensure all pharmacy services remain in compliance with State and Federal regulations
    • Review all inpatient medication orders for appropriateness and correctness to ensure safe and effective medication use; identify and verify patients' home medications prior to use
    • Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory including Omnicell, specialty boxes, crash carts, and emergency kits across the facility
    • Maintain records of procurement, dispensing, and destruction of pharmaceuticals including controlled substances in accordance with California pharmacy law
    • Provide drug information to healthcare professionals within the facility via written materials, references, or telephone consultation
    • Serve as on-call pharmacist after hours during assigned shift days and provide weekend coverage for emergency medication dispensing
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license valid in the state of California
    • Inpatient pharmacy experience within the last 3 years (required)
    • Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing pharmaceutical services
    • Experience maintaining controlled substance records and ensuring regulatory compliance
    • Ability to serve as Pharmacist in Charge and manage pharmacy operations independently
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Omnicell or similar automated dispensing systems
    • Familiarity with drug formulary programs and cost-savings purchasing procedures
    • Experience in a critical access or rural hospital setting
