Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Job Overview We are seeking a versatile and experienced Hospital Pharmacist to manage inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical services. Under the direction of the Pharmaceutical Services Director, you will serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing the procurement, distribution, and clinical review of medications. This role ensures the facility remains in full compliance with State and Federal regulations while maintaining high standards of patient safety. Key Responsibilities
- Review all inpatient medication orders for appropriateness and safety.
- Manage pharmacy and Omnicell inventory, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain pharmaceuticals for specialty kits and crash carts across the facility.
- Provide drug information and consultation to other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for the procurement and destruction of controlled substances per CA law.
