Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 14:30) Experience: Minimum of 0 years, new graduates accepted if they have relevant experience License: Required Certifications: PharmD, RPh, Proficient in Cerner order verification Must-Have: - Proficient in Cerner order verification - Familiar with inpatient pharmacy and hospital distribution services - Knowledge of IV room preparation - Experience with hospital-based medications such as IV antibiotics, IV anticoagulants, and IV electrolytes Description: Position is for an inpatient pharmacy pharmacist. The candidate must be proficient in Cerner order verification. The computer programs utilized will include Cerner EMR, Pyxis, and Pharmacy Keeper. Familiarity with Cerner Meds Manager order verification process is required. Experience in inpatient pharmacy hospital distribution services is essential. Candidates should have knowledge of IV antibiotics, IV anticoagulants, and IV electrolytes. No weekend or holiday requirements are specified. This position may include varying caseloads and requires interaction with multiple healthcare teams. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. First-time travelers are accepted with the proper experience. Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility to be eligible.
