We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist with experience using EPIC and Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing while collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Verify and accurately dispense prescription medications.
• Review medication orders for accuracy, dosing, allergies, and drug interactions.
• Utilize EPIC and Cerner EMR systems to review patient records and process medication orders.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility pharmacy regulations.
• Monitor patient medication profiles and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Document pharmacist interventions and medication-related activities in the EMR.
• Ensure medication inventory is properly managed and controlled.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• PharmD or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent pharmacist experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Required experience with EPIC and Cerner EMR systems.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
